Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you (“Customer”, “you”) and GetWooBooster (“we”, “us”, “our”) for the Boxyan WordPress plugin and related services. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the software.

2. The product

Boxyan is a premium WooCommerce plugin that lets store owners create customizable product box builders. Features may include AI-assisted box generation (using your own third-party AI API keys), multi-step storefront flows, pricing rules, and related admin tools. Feature availability may depend on your plan, WordPress/WooCommerce versions, and configuration.

3. Purchases via Freemius

We sell Boxyan through Freemius, an authorized commerce and licensing platform. Freemius handles payment processing, invoicing, tax collection where applicable, license activation, subscription renewals, and customer account management.

When you buy:

• Prices, billing interval (yearly or lifetime), and site limits are shown on the checkout page and in your order confirmation
• You must provide accurate billing and contact information
• Recurring plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date through your Freemius account
• Freemius may act as merchant of record or reseller depending on the transaction; the checkout page will identify the seller of record

4. License grant

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Install and use Boxyan on the number of WordPress sites specified in your plan (1, 5, or unlimited as purchased)
• Receive plugin updates and support for the period included with your plan (typically one year from purchase for yearly licenses; see checkout for lifetime plan details)

You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publicly share the premium plugin files or license keys
• Use a single-site license on more sites than permitted
• Remove or circumvent license validation or security mechanisms
• Use Boxyan for unlawful purposes or to violate third-party rights

WordPress plugins distributed in the WordPress ecosystem are subject to the GNU General Public License (GPL) where applicable to WordPress-derivative code. Your paid license covers access to premium updates, support, and the commercial distribution channel — not unlimited redistribution of our premium package.

5. Updates and support

Active licenses receive plugin updates and email support for the support period stated at checkout. After a yearly license expires, you may continue using the last version you downloaded, but updates and support require renewal. We may modify, improve, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when changes materially affect core functionality.

6. Third-party services

Boxyan integrates with and depends on third parties, including:

• WordPress & WooCommerce — you are responsible for compatible hosting, themes, and plugins
• Freemius — licensing and commerce (Terms)
• AI providers (optional) — if you enable AI features, you supply your own API keys and are bound by that provider’s terms and fees

We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or incompatibilities outside our reasonable control.

7. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Backing up your site before installing or updating the plugin
• Testing on staging where possible
• Compliance with laws applicable to your store (consumer rights, taxes, privacy notices to your shoppers, etc.)
• Content, products, and offers you configure in box builders
• Keeping your Freemius account and license keys secure

8. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Freemius may process approved refunds on our behalf.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOXYAN IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation or compatibility with every theme, plugin, or hosting environment.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GETWOOBOOSTER AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF BOXYAN, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR BOXYAN SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE LICENSE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR THE SINGLE PURCHASE AMOUNT FOR ONE-TIME LIFETIME PLANS).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GetWooBooster from claims arising from your misuse of Boxyan, your store’s content or products, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms (including license misuse or chargeback abuse). You may stop using the plugin at any time. Sections that by nature should survive (license restrictions, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) will survive termination.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. For material changes affecting existing subscriptions, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you via email or Freemius account notice.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to GetWooBooster’s place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise. Payment disputes processed by Freemius may also be subject to Freemius’ terms and the laws applicable to those transactions.
